The stitches are so even, the fibers of the fabric tacked cleanly into place.
Building around her work. Adding to the garden 70 years later.....
I am no doubt an impatient sewer...
My elder was anything but.
Her stitches catch my eye every few seconds.
Uniform and delicate. My hand moves in half
formed gestures. Waving hello, like a child.
